3rd International Study Event: Nutrition in Maternal Phenylketonuria (mPKU) | Event
4th - 5th October 2023, Amsterdam, NetherlandsOctober 2023 saw the successful unveiling of Vitaflo’s 3rd International Study Event: Nutrition in Maternal Phenylketonuria (mPKU) in the vibrant city of Amsterdam. This one of a kind event, attracted Healthcare Professionals working in the field of inborn errors of metabolism from across the globe enabling the sharing of clinical practice and networking opportunities.
The meeting format was a combination of talks, workshops and poster walks providing an overview of mPKU management now and for the future, an insight into the use of GMP and drug therapy in mPKU, experiences of unplanned and challenging mPKU pregnancies, research into the optimal amount of natural protein and amino acid requirements in mPKU and much, much more.
