This webinar discussed the Clinical Practice Recommendations for the nutritional management of the child with acute kidney injury (AKI) from the Paediatric Renal Nutrition Taskforce.

- List 2 consequences of initiating dialysis on the nutritional prescription.
- Describe when and how to prescribe oral and enteral feeding in critically ill children with AKI.
- Explain the differences in protein prescription in children with AKI who are non-critically ill, critically ill and those receiving dialysis.
- Name an electrolyte that should not be corrected to normal, too rapidly, when initially very abnormal.
