DESCRIPTION
Victoria presented a case study of a 10-year-old girl with Tuberous sclerosis complex, which was medically managed until 7 years of age when she started on a modified MCT ketogenic diet.
Despite seizure improvements on the ketogenic diet, the patient and parents struggled to implement ketogenic diet therapy and K.Vita was initiated. The case discusses the weaning of ketogenic diet therapy, and the positive impact K.Vita has had on their lives after 12 months.
