Solenne shared a case study involving a 15-year-old girl with multiple complex diagnoses, including feeding difficulties and the presence of an enteral feeding tube.
The patient had previously followed a classical ketogenic diet, which was discontinued after a successful 2-year period. However, with the worsening of seizures, the decision was made to initiate K.Vita.
The case study highlighted the challenges associated with managing a medically complex patient and emphasised the positive impact K.Vita has had in comparison to a ketogenic diet, including learnings for future use in similar cases.
